How To Order The Brooklyn
Now that you've chosen the system you need for your project, you'll want to hover your mouse over the Barn Door Hardware section of our menu.
You'll be presented with a list of our systems, if you go ahead and click The Brooklyn, we'll walk you through the tricky part...(Uh Oh!)
You'll be presented with a little bit of information about The Brooklyn, such as how to work out the length of the track you'll need to order and some handy resources like frequently asked questions and a Technical Help page.
This is where you'll find any answers to any questions you might still have at this point, once satisfied that The Brooklyn is definitely for you, hit the 'Click To Buy It Now' button and we'll take you through the next step
Here's where we get a little bit of basic information from you so we can get started on your sliding door kit.
At DoorMate, we think every kit we make is just as unique as the customer and the home or workspace its going into, so we will always follow up every order with what we call a 'Spec Request Sheet' so we can get the finer details of your order.
Track Length To Suit
To get your track length, measure your door opening width and times it by 4, then select the track length option that your measurements fit within (we'll cut this down free of charge when we receive your response to our follow up email)
Finishes and Fixings
Our finishes and fixings are purely up to the customers own personal taste, however if you are fitting your system externally (outside) you will need to select the Hammerite finish for extra protection against mother nature.
Soft Open and Soft Close Devices
These devices aren't required for the complete kit and are entirely optional, although we do recommend them to customers with Small Children or Pets running around the home to avoid any heavy slams and accidents.
If you chose to have these devices, you can fit them yourself in the process or putting together your kit, or you can select to have them pre-fitted to your track by our team.
Floor Guides
This choice is down to customer taste, we offer 3 options of floor guides.
Concealed Floor Guide = You would need to route out the bottom the door for a hidden floor guide to slide through.
Cupped Floor Guide = your door would slide through a U-Shaped channel that has been bolted to the floor.
Roller Floor Guide = Similar to the Cupped Floor guide, but with one side of the bracket being a wheel and is fitted to the wall rather than the floor.
Please note you can find more information and images of these devices and floor guides on our Technical Stuff Page
Once you've filled in this information, scroll back up to the top of the page and click 'Add To Basket'
You'll be taken to the checkout page, if your satisfied with your order (Don't forget to check out at our pull-handle range) scroll to the bottom and select the country we'll be sending your kit to
Please note that we are only able to ship to the UK at the current time
