Your track should be exactly double the door width (No extra length needed for stop ends etc.)
Remembering your door always needs to be wider and taller than your opening.
Anything over 2600mm we regard as 'non-standard', Please Email us for a quote, we can make our track lengths any size.
If ordering for a larger door over 1300mm we recommend ordering extra wheels and strap hangers, Recommended amount will be based on door size.
From door opening to ceiling or obstruction:
The Gainesville, The Brooklyn and The Covington: 175mm minimum
The Augusta With Standard Bridging Bracket: 315mm
The Augusta with Reversed Bridging Bracket: 225mm

Yes, this wouldn't be a problem, as our wheels have sealed bearings. We would recommend using an external painted finish such as Hammerite.

Doors - 4 to 6 weeks.
Weight is not usually an issue with our hardware as each wheel bearing has a 250kg capacity when fitting heavy doors it's very important that its fixed to the wall securely as its more likely to pull away from wall than damage the hardware.

We recommend at least 40mm per side and 40mm on top.
Barn doors come finished or non finished as to customer's request.
All orders are followed by a spec request sheet allowing us to bespoke fixing pack to individual projects.
The track is 6 x 50mm. The strap hangers are 5 x 40 x 300mm.
We can pre-drill solid walls no problem but with stud walls we would need the stud centres. This is one of the questions we ask in the spec request sheet
Due to courier restrictions the maximum length we can send on a single track is 2600mm. Any track length above this will be cut in two equal parts and will be provided with a central locking strap.
